ABC TV - Done Deals!

ABC TV has recently acquired a number of shows for its kids/tweens channel ABC3.

All previously with other Australian networks, but soon to be making their way onto ABC3 for the first time, are live-action series Lockie Leonard (Series 1), and Double Trouble, as well as animated favourite I Got A Rocket.

Keep an eye on the TV guides for these shows debut on ABC3.

Flea-Bitten heads to Thailand and the Middle East

Launched at MIPTV 2011, and delivered to the ACTF later the same year, animated series Flea-Bitten (52 x 12 min) continues to garner worldwide interest. ... Already sold to commercial broadcaster VMMA (Belgium) as well as TG4 (Ireland) Flea-Bitten has just been picked up by distributor Middle East Media for the Arab Speaking territories of the Middle East and North Africa. The series has also recently been sold to Thai kids channel UBC Kids.

Dancing Down Under

The ACTF launched Dancing Down Under, a 10 x 24 min observational documentary/reality series, at MIPTV in March/April. Already pre-sold to Irish language broadcaster TG4, buyer feedback at the market was positive, with many commenting on how much they liked the concept. Many buyers requested a screener, happy to consider what a number of them welcomed as "something different".  ... Dancing own Under follows the amazing adventures of a group of Australian kids as they vie for the winner’s trophies in the extraordinary world of competitive Irish Dancing.

Dukes of Broxstonia (Series 1 & 2) - On Air in the UK!

The Dukes of Broxstonia are the hottest band to come out of Broxstonia in years.  In fact they’re the only band to come out of Broxstonia.  Ever! ... Following a successful run as a short 10 x 45 second series, the Dukes’ new series sees their no dialogue, wacky comedy expanded into a 10 x 3 minute series which debuted at MIPCOM in October last year. ... Sold to CSC Media Group (UK) in December last year, Dukes of Broxtonia (Series 1 & 2) premiered on their boys skewed "Kix" channel on 1 April this year.
